A small alley of 19 inexpensive drinking and eating spots located on the ground floor of an apartment building. Each place is different in the food and drink they serve so there is plenty of variety. The entrances to the alley are not that apparent to non-Japanese readers, they are identifiable by a cluster of vertical signs by a long white sign for the businesses each a different color. Tokyo Photographic Art Museum aka TOP Museum (東京都写真美術館)
Opened in January 1995 as a four story public museum operated by the Tokyo Government to focus on visual culture. The collection is devoted to photography and moving images including motion pictures, video games, animation, etc. The museum hosts presentations and educational programs. There are three galleries, a theater, a reading room, a sizeable gift shop on the second floor, and a cafe. A very large mixed use complex of shops, restaurants, museums, and offices, including the headquarters of Sapporo Breweries which opened 1994 on the former location of the Yebisu brewery. The large tree lined plaza on the northern side hosts events and markets,
